...CAMERA! GO ME!!
ok, so far, any pictures i've taken that have been submitted here have been made with either a Kodak disposable camera (only one or two pictures) or my p&s Canon PowerShot A570 IS.
i've always wanted something a little more professional, just without the price tag. LOL
so i found a great Intermediate DSLR that suites my needs (at least the next few years), has all the features i was looking for, and best of all, fit my budget for what i was willing to pay.
i got a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi w/ an 18-55mm lens and, of course, a padded carrying case.
now i know i'll be needing to get at least one more lens, but it'll have to wait for a little while.
what lenses would you suggest to go with this?

Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 AutoFocus Wide Angle Lens - USA

i shoot alot of wide angle so i bit the bullet and shelled out for this one
my kit came with
EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Zoom Lens
and
Canon EF 75-300 F/4.0-5.6 III USM Lens
neither of which were particularly fast so thats why i bought the 1.8 and the 2.8

' you and me and the devil makes three '
i got my 50mm F/1.8 last week. unfortunately, work has kept me for getting to go out and use it for another couple of days.
i haven't decided about getting a wide-angle, but maybe later.
i know i'll be wanting a normal-telephoto lens, but it'll be awhile for i get another lens. the 50mm should be just fine.. for now. LOL
thank you again.

my submission rules
Camera: Canon EOS 400D (Digital Rebel XTi)
that 50mm would have been perfect for the portraits you posted called brian 01 02 03.
have fun with it!
